Why pay for fonts?

Each font has been carefully designed and developed with a minimum of 180 characters, accents, manual kerning and Euro symbol. In some cases the production has gone over a period of 4 months to perfect the individual typeface. As with most things in the World you only get back what you actually put in.

How do I pay for my items?

We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or regular account payments all through PayPal. You are not required to have a PayPal account to purchase from this store. Although if you already have a PayPal account you may use it. This store uses PayPal for payments, and PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available).

When do I get the items?

Fonts - It is important to provide your CORRECT email address since The Northern Block will send you the font(s) to this email after payment has been approved (Usually within 24 hours). If you don't receive your font(s) please mail to info@thenorthernblock.co.uk and send us your order information containing the fontname(s) and your os (mac/pc).

T-Shirts - We aim to get t-shirts sent out within 3 working days after recieving the order. The packages are sent out by recorded delivery. This means that should anything should go astray we then have a document to trace the missing items and can claim compensation if things get lost. Postage within the U.K. & Worldwide is Free.

Can I return the items?

Fonts - We do not offer returns or exchanges of fonts. We strongly advise you to backup your TNB fonts upon purchase! Under extreme circumstances - your computer crashes or is stolen and your backup files are corrupted - you will be re-issued a replacement.

T-Shirts - We will refund or exchange your item within 30 days if you are not totally satisfied. Simple return item(s) you don’t want including a note telling us whether you’d like to exchange, refund or recieve credit towards a different item. As The Northern Block t-shirts are made in limited quantities we may not always be able to swap if the desired size is out of stock. If that’s the case we will let you know. Acceptable reasons for returns include wrong sizes or goods were damaged in transit or during manufacture. Unaccaptable returns include you shrank the t-shirt in the wash or you ran a hot iron directly over the top of the design.

Please note that we do not pay for returned postage and when you do send anything back to us retain proof of posting from your postal service, so that you may trace the package if we do not recieve it. We are not responsable for returned items that fail to reach us. Refunds can take up to 30 days to complete once we recieve your goods. Why don't you allow embedding in your license?

You are allowed to embed the fonts to send a .pdf to a printer or to a client for approval. However, if you want to do an email distribution .pdf newsletter, you must pay an additional embedding fee.

Do you allow embedding in Flash?

Generally, we allow embedding if the text is static, but we charge a flat embedding fee for dynamic text. see the pricing section for further details.
